In this work, the 11624 days of time that I have lived so far and the 36190 days that the former Yamaguchi Mankichi Residence Kudan House has lived are replaced by the number of days of the earth's rotation, synchronised and rotated by the cymbals up and down.

As long as you are alive, your time does not stop. Time is constantly clinging to my body, just as the date changes when I look at my watch when I am not in the moment, and until now, I have always been the centre of the ever-changing landscape.

Between the main house and the garden of Kudan House, I synchronise my time with Kudan House from this base point. The motors that go up and down reproduce the layers of time that the Kudan House and myself have lived up to the present day. With the cessation of rotation, it reproduces the “that” moment that will come someday.
