Due to some private circumstances,  I felt that I had spent double time during most of all my college life. I went to college in the morning and worked all night at a part-time job. I finished my job at the morning, I went to college again directly. After the school, I went back home and slept like a log. At the next morning, everything has been reset and the same cycle has been repeated again. The globe turned twice during my "day". The global circumstances changed my life. My "day" became a normal single day, and I felt that my "day" became shorter. I felt a small joy in being able to sleep every day, and thought about many things at night when I couldn't sleep. My time had returned to normal conditions in the abnormal global circumstances. When I couldn't sleep, I thought about my days that seemed to be in loop. Worth of my day like a light and thin copy paper, How thick is my day that ends so easily?I wonder if worth of my days are accumulated in their own way, just like the printed papers pile up on the tray. On August 21, 2020, 10,000 days had been elapsed since I was born.

This is a work in which I recorded, compressed, shaved, layered and spun the sound for 31 days before my 10,000th day of my life. Time and sound are invisible and untouchable, but they are certainly exist. The grobal circumstances that have changed suddenly and coincidentally give me an opportunity to think about time, I reconstructed the concept of time that I had overlooked until that time, and the concept has been materialized as the sound. Time length of a day can intuitively stretch and shrink, and it's worth can be heavier and lighter. The thickness of the sound made of the accumulated time becomes a three-dimensional existence in the space, and I think it is possible to say that it is a sculpture that does not exist visually. In order to visualize the time that exist equally for everyone but may be overlooked if you don't pay attention to it, I produced a work in which I recorded, compressed, shaved, layered and spun the sound for 31 days before my 10,000th day.
